This event will highlight the many veterans in our County, whom after years of brave service, need affordable housing for themselves and their families. Tragically, 88 veterans were found to be chronically homeless in the 2014 County-wide count (down 33% from the previous year). With high rental rates and a very-low vacancy rate, it is the community’s turn now to help these Veterans find an affordable place to live. VCHTF’s goal is to develop new affordable homes for these veterans and other low-income members of our community.
